The Truth on the United Nations News
The following as a examination of the United Nations News. It is meant to examine the motivation behind the creation of the United Nations News.
This examination will use evidence provided via post from General JB172. The meaning of these post will be explained.
The Examination
This post clearly states the main intention behind
the United Nations News. The main point in question here is the statement“The 2 week investigation was also made in
the count of journalism and this made v100 angry, when it was spreading an
opinion and a couple of facts.” Two main
issues arise from this statement.
1. The
2 Week Investigation
V100 never authorized the UNN to
perform an investigation on the topic, which made the leadership of V100 angry.
He points his out in an attempt to make the V100 leaders look oversensitive and
appear to be crybabies. However, If the V100 attempted to investigate the UN
without permission, it is highly likely that the UN would see this as spying
and declare this action to be “unprofessional”.
2. Opinion
and a Couple of Facts
This is shows the true objective of
the UNN. He says that it is spreading an opinion. In the real world, news
agencies pride themselves on being as unbiased as possible, and allow for a
debate to take place, with both sides being represented equally. Has this ever
happened on the UNN? No, in fact no one except UN members has ever appeared on
the UNN. Exactly what does this mean and
why is it important?
Why is this Important?
This post effectively points out that the UNN is not a news source, but a propaganda source undercover. The reasoning for this follows.
As mentioned above, the UNN displays no characteristics of a actual news outlet. It is biased toward one side. Since most people never hear the other side of the story, they take this biased as fact. This effect is the main objective of propaganda. An example of this would be the countless times that Power has been referred to as a "stalker", and how many blacklist members have been referred to as "terrorist". These words have become common within the UN to describe the people on the UN blacklist. However, if you ask the average UN member why these people are "terrorist", the only source they can draw upon is the UNN, or the leadership of the UN. It shows that the opinion of the UN's leadership has been forced upon the general UN population.
